having a child requires many things: sex between a man and a woman brave (or stupid) enough not to use any contraception, 9 months of waiting, lots of money, and a lifetime of filial commitments.

giving birth to this blog has been a uniquely arduous experience for me, requiring nearly 3 hours of testing blog names for availability as the importance of a fitting blog name is high. apparently, previously thought obscure lyrics have already been taken for use.

and so without further ado, here it is: my graduation from 'notes.' i have arrived.
